With passion and experience, he passes on emotions of taste linked to the Calabrian territory and to the recipes of the Mediterranean tradition.

TIME LINE

OUR HISTORY 

“Ours is a simple story,

made of passion and love for the territory” 

It all starts from a small corner of Calabria in 1998. 

In fact, the company was born in Bisignano, a small town nestled in the Valle del Crati in the province of Cosenza.

 

It is here that two artisan workshops, producers of vegetable-based preserves and fruit and fig-based products, respectively, decide to join together and embark on a path of enhancement of the typical products of the area.

Bringing the Made in Italy taste to the world, promoting the craftsmanship of the products, the sense of conviviality and family contained in our recipes, the deep bond with the territory and its perfumes. 

The company has been dealing with food and wine gifts for years, including corporate gifts, offering customization services with elegant packaging ideal for any occasion; uses an e-commerce site and a presence on the main marketplaces and ships in Italy and abroad, offering specific advice and solutions for each sales channel.

Valle del Crati Group srl works to place high quality products on the market, guaranteeing the safety of the final consumer. To do this, it makes use of an internal HACCP plan, a set of preventive control procedures aimed at identifying possible critical points.  

The company carefully follows the production chain, selecting raw materials, carefully evaluating suppliers and preferring local and 0 km products. Valle del Crati Group srl is also certified for the sale of organic food by ICEA IT BIO 006. 

To improve efficiency and reduce the impact of processes on the environment, the company produces using clean energy, thanks to a 329 Kw photovoltaic system installed in the factory. 

 
The packaging and packaging used in the packaging are made from recycled materials, are 100% recyclable and with reduced amounts of plastic. 

The company is also part of important research and experimental development projects, in collaboration with Italian institutions and universities.

The Valle del Crati company is located in C/da Imperatore di Bisignano (CS), just 4 km from the A2 motorway junction of the Mediterranean Torano-Bisignano, where it has a factory of 3000 square meters used for processing, transformation, the packaging and marketing of its gastronomic excellences.
